About us

The Australian Mission to the UN in New York comprises staff from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Australian Defence Force and the Australian Federal Police.

The Mission represents Australia at a range of UN meetings and conferences in New York, including the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council. It also participates in the work of other UN bodies, including the Security Council, and follows the activities of UN funds, programs and specialised agencies.
